Have you started your revision ? Great if you've already started working hard...still not too late if you're going to do so now !
Your biggest-ever challenge is approaching and it's time you showed how well you're adapting to the new curriculum and our class, 4D !
Remember what Ms Chan Chan said last Sunday ? (not me, Elisa Chan !) Everybody is struggling to a certain degree and only your effort will be recognized and appreciated ! No one will pity you if you don't do anything to prove your ability !
Though I'm busy setting paper this week, you're still 100% welcome to ask or discuss any Qs about the test here. Let's join hands and fight for our 1st challenge !

ReplyDeletefirst, i would like to say thank you to you.I guess you feel a bit shock that i went to shake your arm suddenly and said i had to receive your postive energy. This method was informed by ms wong as she said we were being negative towards the new curriculum and wanted this method can
help us.Here, thank you for giving me your positive energy ,which is one of the elements that makes me happy^^
secondly , i want to be honest that i still don't get with the f.4's life.There are tons of works and i can't finish all of them everyday.I heard from other students that they work until 4 a.m. When i heard this , i was shocked .At 4am ,i am having my sweet dream!!The second reason that i still don't adapt is that i was spoiled very much by ms hui in F.3. As i was the english monitress in f.3 , it is impossible to collect the whole class' homework within a day.we didn't care about the homework .whether you hand in your work or not , there were no punishment. in addition , according to my memory , ms hui has never deducted mark at anyone of my ex-class.Being in this "greenhouse"for a year,it is difficult for me being in a "lion cage" now.
Lastly, i saw you were wearing mask today, is you maid infect you again? Ayway , take care!!

ReplyDeleteYou're right that the "greenhouse" has gone far and you're all now in a jungle in which only the tough ones will survive ! (Hi everybody in 4D, did Ada share what many of you are facing now ?)
F.4 is always a milestone for secondary students and I've told 4D many times that they have to forget who they were or what they did in the past few years, of course except the knowledge they've acquired. What I meant was they all have to start over again, no matter how well or badly they performed from F.1 to F.3.
Time never waits so good time management is crucial to your studying. Burning the midnight oil (until 4a.m. !) is never an ideal method as we all know the Chinese idiom which says "too much is as bad as inadequate."
For the first term test, which is such an unknown nightmare to all F.4 newcomers, doing your best is the best approach. Besides, taking the initiative to improve your skills and clarify any misunderstanding, you'll find your learning and studying both efficient and effective !
P.S. In " a lion cage", have you found yourself lucky to have a good tamer and guiding star --> Ms Wong ? Dear Yi Ching and 4D, hope I'm also enlightening and inspiring to all of you 8-)

測驗週將至，同學們埋首苦讀，勿通宵達旦（尤以測驗前夕）。現提供求學時期之提神湯水，多年來十分湊巧，不妨一試，一試難忘，不試終生抱憾。
【療效】：提神養顏，考試必備
【用料】：桑寄生一、雞蛋兩隻、八碗水、適量冰糖（兩人份量）
【做法】：用清水略沖洗桑寄生，瀝乾，放入大煲內，再加入雞蛋和八碗水，用大火煲滾後 （約半小時），取出雞蛋，然後剝殼。再以慢火一併煲滾（約一小時）即可。

ReplyDeleteyes.I am lucky to have miss wong be my teacher.she is a efficient and well-perpared teacher.Sayiny that i am in a lion cage is because lions are the King of jungle .They are the top among other animals .I am sure 4D and i will become a talented lion under miss wong and your leadership.
